We have a standby server where it is sometimes impossible to input
decimals. It's always possible on Primary server and display clients.
If you try to input for example 1.9 you get 1.
If we restart Citect on the Standby server it works again for a while.
Does anyone have any suggestions what could be the cause of this problem
?

Hi Bart,
An interesting lateral thinking exercise. My thoughts: apart from a
problem surfacing with the PC's math calculations I was thinking a
regional setting swap which changed default decimal separator to
European comma and the list separator to a decimal point. Confirming the
situation in MS Calculator or other application would be helpful.
However, with above example, I think this should result in a 2 or an
invalid command (seen if Prompt AN shown on you pages); and zeroing or
no change to the displayed value, depending on how you have configured
the commands. Also a standard tip when problems are PC or role specific
is to swap the roles of the computers over (eg primary & standby) to see
if problem persists with PC or role.
